ABOUT US
Whole Health Holistic
Whole Health Vet is owned and operated by Dr. Margaret Abeyta. She is a 2017 graduate from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She knew from a young age that animals were her life’s passion and grew up training dogs, riding horses, and raising chickens, rabbits, pigs, and sheep through 4-H. During her teenage years she dealt wish some health issues that remained a mystery even to specialists. Thankfully her mom sought the help of an acupuncturist and herbalist who linked together multiple symptoms, triggers, and personality traits and helped the body to heal rather than just masking symptoms. From these experiences, her passion for melding western and eastern medicine was born. Her highest goal is to improve the quality of life of animals both big and small (including humans) for as long as possible. Dr. Margaret attended the Chi University in 2017 to learn acupuncture and completed their advanced training course in 2022. She is currently completing certifications in herbal medicine through the Chi Institute and natural nutrition though the College of Integrative Veterinary Therapies.

OUR SERVICES
OUR SERVICES
Every initial consultation includes a review of all past medical history, recommendations for diagnostics, a review of any current treatments and supplements, and suggestions for a holistic treatment plan. It’s is my belief that using modern medicine to find a diagnosis is the best way to create a truly targeted holistic plan that will yield the best outcome for your pet. At times western treatments like antibiotics or surgery may be the option that will yield the most effective or safest results. It’s of great benefit to me and to your pet to have a good working relationship with your primary care veterinarian so that care can have continuity and be blended to help your pet achieve the highest quality of life that we can provide.

Quazimodo
“Quazimodo was born with congenital defects that left him in constant pain. Dr. Margaret’s use of acupuncture, herbs, and physical therapy helped him build muscle and thrive in his own special way. I can’t imagine life without him and thanks to Dr. Margaret I don’t have to! ”
